I am a stay at home mom of four (two here and two in heaven). I enjoy couponing, cooking, gardening, and all things crafty. I also volunteer in my church and in my community, and started a foundation with my local hospital’s NICU on behalf of our stillborn twins. Helping others helps me, and I enjoy doing it. That is why I started this site. When I got pregnant with our last child in 2009 I started getting SERIOUS about couponing and saving money to supplement our budget. I was doing so well at couponing, friends would ask me my secrets. That is when I started the Heather’s Hints Facebook page and it all grew from there.
I not only want this to be a site where you can learn about couponing, but I also want it to be a place where people can come and learn about all kinds of things from cooking and cleaning to budgets and children. I hope you enjoy this site and all the exciting things that come from it.

Just thought I would share a sweet money maker I got this week. At Publix get a 54 count Carefree pantyliner for $2.73 and use $2 in store coupon and .50 cent on line coupon that doubles to $1 make 27 cents. In store coupon is also good for Stayfree products but cost more so it’s not as good a deal.
Will you being doing another Coupon 101 class soon closer to East Huntsville? Like maybe the main library? It is over 20 miles for me to get to the Madison Library.

Thank you for your question. At this time I don’t have any classes scheduled passed today but I am working on a class for the Bailey Cove branch of the library for late Feb, early March. I have done one at the main branch before but it wasn’t that successful with attendance. Stay tuned, things always pop up and something may be closer to you soon.
